Standard pet stores weren't built for our breeds.
The collars sit on their throats. The harnesses don't fit their chest. The treats aren't made for short muzzles. The toys weren't designed for dogs who breathe differently. And the advice? Generic at best.
You've always known your dog is different. We just built the store that finally agrees with you.
Who we are
Bulldoggy Co was founded by the team behind Hollywood Bulldogs AUS — Australia's only vet specialist-endorsed British Bulldog breeding program, and the #1 MDBA-recognised breeder actively advancing the ADAMTS3 Breeding for Health Genetic Action Plan.
What that means in plain English: we DNA-test every one of our breeding dogs for the genetic markers linked to airway health. We work directly with veterinary specialists. We've dedicated our breeding program to reducing BOAS — the respiratory condition that affects flat-faced breeds — one litter at a time.
We know these dogs. Not from a distance. Not from a brochure. From years of whelping, raising, placing, and learning from every single bulldog that has come through our doors.
When our puppy families asked us where to buy the best gear for their new dog, we kept giving the same honest answer: we don't know — the stores aren't built for these breeds.
So we built one.

Why we built this
Flat-faced breeds make up some of the most popular dogs in Australia. French Bulldogs. British Bulldogs. Pugs. Boston Terriers. Shih Tzus. Cavaliers. Boxers.
And yet — walk into any pet store and you'll find an entire industry built around Labradors and Golden Retrievers.
Collars that compress already-compromised airways. Harnesses with chest pieces that dig into the wrong place. Supplements formulated for large breeds. Food puzzles designed for long-muzzled dogs.
Not because the industry is careless. Because flat-faced breeds are genuinely different — anatomically, physiologically, and in the way they need to be cared for. And no one had built the store that acknowledged that.
That's the gap we're closing.
